"Na Curva do Rio" literally translates to "by the curve of the river" and is as the name suggests, located by the banks of the Arade River between Estombar and Silves in Western Algarve.

This rustic and charming property is particularly ideal for nature lovers and those who enjoy country pursuits. The property is set in a natural bird reserve renowned for its great beauty. The landscape surrounding the property invites guests to relax while enjoying the slow and tranquil motion of the quiet river Arade flowing by. From the property there are delightful views over the river and surrounding hills.

Accommodation at Na curva do Rio consists of 9 suites, five with double beds and 4 with twin beds. Four suites are located in the original part of the property and the other five are located in the extension. Two suites can be rented as an apartment.

Each suite is individually decorated providing a unique character and atmosphere. The furniture is rustic and simple but very comfortable.

All suites are equipped with a heating stove, ceiling fan and ‘hands free’ shower.

There is a communal lounge area with television.

In the grounds there is a swimming pool and garden furniture for relaxing in the hot Algarve summers.
On request the owners will prepare a ‘home cooked’ lunch or dinner.

In the area there are several activities available golf, tennis, scuba diving, walking, trekking, etc.

Some of the best beaches in The Algarve, such as Praia da Rocha or Tres Irmaos are approximately fifteen minutes away from the property.

With world class golf courses, wonderful beaches and busy local markets with traditionally made handicrafts, The Algarve has plenty to offer everyone.

The staff will be able to give directions and suggestions for activities and sightseeing in the area.

This property is not suitable for handicapped persons.

The House is approximately 35 minutes by car from Faro international airport.
